Longer sessions and intensives
Longer sessions, including 90-minute couples sessions, half-day and one-day intensives, are charged at a multiple of the hourly rate.
Where a session spans both business and outside hours, the relevant hourly rate will apply to each portion of the session. I’ll confirm the total fee with you when you book.
Half-day and one-day intensives
A half-day or one-day intensive is a Relational Life Therapy immersion for couples who want to make real progress in a short time. It suits couples who feel stuck in the same destructive cycle, are facing a crisis and need clarity about the future, have tried other couples therapy without much change, or find it hard to fit regular sessions around busy working lives.
Throughout the day, we’ll assess where your relationship is now, map the patterns each of you plays a part in, and look at how the families you grew up in shape how you react today. You’ll learn practical ways to stop the fights that go nowhere, and we’ll finish with clear agreements about what each of you is working on and where to go from here.

Medicare and Private Health
If you’re seeing me as an individual client with a Mental Health Treatment Plan and referral from your usual GP (or a GP at the practice where you’re registered with MyMedicare), you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate, currently $101.55 per session for 10 sessions within a calendar year. Medicare doesn’t cover couples therapy, but your private health extras cover may. Check with your fund.
